Year 5 at The Greenwich Observatory

Year 5 went to Greenwich Observatory on Monday. After a long walk, up a very steep hill...they took part in a fascinating workshop in the planetarium. They were able to choose their own path and explore planets of their choosing. They were also able to explore the North Site full of old telescope and navigation equipment (linked to the astronomy). We were all amazed by some of the time telling techniques of the past.
