Year 5 Win School Tasking Regional Final

Huge congratulations to our Year 5 Spitingle Spinels and Year 6 Zircon Phoenixes, who represented Rushmore Primary School brilliantly at the School Tasking Regional Final held at Addleshaw Goddard on Friday 1st May!

Our Year 6 Zircon Phoenixes were invited back as taskmasters after making such a strong impression in last year's final. They rose to the challenge magnificently, acting as impartial judges and providing fair, constructive feedback to all competing teams. Meanwhile, our Year 5 Spitingle Spinels worked together superbly through a series of creative challenges, including producing a stop-motion short film and the all-important task of hiding a biscuit within a mound of sweets! Their teamwork, creativity and determination paid off – they won the regional final!

The Spitingles Spinels are now heading to the Grand Final, where they might even get the chance to meet Alex Horne (creator of Taskmaster) himself. We couldn't be prouder of both teams and wish Year 5 the very best of luck in the final!
