Table Tennis Tournament

Over the last 2 months Mr O'Shea and the head teacher of Mandeville had been organising a table tennis tournament for Rushmore, Mandeville and 2 other schools in the Hackney borough.

All schools involved brought their top performing boys and girls. We brought down the following boys- Hector, Dominic, Theo and Kenzo and the following girls- Coco, Nina and Elise.

In this knock out competition, unfortunately none of the girls made it past the first round in a highly competitive field but they put in a great effort. Hector was unlucky not to make it to the semis just losing out on deuce to a strong player from Mandeville in the quarter finals.

Both Theo and Dominic played some brilliant table tennis and managed to both make the final with Theo claiming victory in a high quality final beating Dominic 10-7. Congratulations to all involved and our Hackney champion Theo, you have all done Rushmore proud.
